Here's my monthly update. May was a good month, attended my first ALS (airman leadership school) graduation.. as the wife of the first sgt. So far so good, except for having to sit at the table in the front of the room with the commanding officer of the base and his wife. That made me a little nervous, more than a little.. a LOT nervous!
May also brought a new birthday. A good year gone, and a good year to come! Hello 32!
In June we have some fun things planned. This up coming weekend is a turtle walk. It's nesting season for the sea turtles and the Preservation Society hosts "turtle walks" where you can walk a half mile of the beach at night (8:30 pm til midnight) and maybe see a turtle coming up to nest. no guarantees of turtles but here's hoping.
June marks our 7 year anniversary. For that, Brad has scored tickets to the Deadliest Catch captain's speech. It's an evening with 3 of the captains from the crab fishing show on Discovery that I'm in LOVE with! :)
In other news, new job is going well - 2 months in, and still loving it. House and pool are also great! We're working hard to decorate our house before family comes to visit after July 4th. Here's a preview:
