Thru the years: how far we’ve come (recap of this blog)

From this starting post in December 2009:

We are officially half way done with this PCS/Deployment. :)
We are 54% down towards RnR in May.

Brad found out that he got the First Sgt position.. so he has school for that in Sept 2010 after he gets back from Korea in Aug.

Hopefully we should be getting the list of bases that need shirts by April/May 2010 and then putting them in our preference order. And hopefully we will find out which base we get by June/July 2010.

Our new dog Spunky (a 10 y.o lemon beagle rescue) is happily getting used to being spoiled and spending time outside/inside.. and living with a pack. Bailey on the other hand, does NOT like having a sibling and does NOT like competition for Mom's attention and affection.. not to mention bones and couch time. Grrrr.

So as we say bye to 2009 - and good riddance.. I am looking forward to 2010.. with great joy and hope that it will prove to be a wonderful year full of adventure and change. Oh, and a wedding - Jamey and Mike are set to get married Dec. 30, 2010. :) Bridesmaid dresses here I come.

To the last December post of 2010:

This past year has flown by, as they all do when we get older.

2010 was a transitional year. It was the best of times; it was the worst of times.

2010 saw the end of a few things:
~~ Brad's Korea tour
~~ DMB Texas tour
~~ Leaving San Antonio, and Texas.

2010 saw the start of a few more:
~~ My first drive across country
~~ Our first home
~~ My First "new" driver’s license
~~ the first 3 months of our new life in Florida. ;)

So I have great aspirations as to what 2011 will bring...

The short resolution list:
1. Enjoy the vacation to Tx
2. Find a job
3. Try to be healthier
4. Get to Disney!
5. Enjoy quality time with my Bradley
6. Talk about the adventure (Blog more)

Raise your glass, and toast to the year gone by.

Enjoyed the vacation to Tx in December 2010, was able to go back in August 2011 for a training week.. Found a job, and went to Disney!  Loved spending time with Bradley and the beagles.  With 73 posts in 2011, I definitely talked/blogged more!  2011 proved to be a great year.   

2012 should be amazing as well. 

Here’s a list of some fun things on the horizon:

1.        Brad’s return

2.       Mini Vacation to Tampa

3.       We’re gonna get a Hot Tub!!
