Since I am currently job hunting, and I might get a part time job on base at the tickets and tours location.. (fingers crossed) That has lead me to think about volunteering with the "extra" time that I am going to have.
I have looked into volunteering at the local zoo, and I have plans to attend an informational meeting this Sat to get more information regarding volunteering at the zoo.
I am also interested in volunteering at the library on base (in an effort to maybe get a job there in a few months/years), maybe I'll just hang out there a few days a week :)
Any other ideas about volunteering, or places that y'all have volunteered and had a wonderful experience?
